《Choosing a gift》是北师大版小学英语六年级上第四单元的教学内容。本单元是以Ken。 Ann and Sue 到商店为Daniel挑选生日礼物为主要背景,通过对商品价格的询问,表达个人对物品的选择观点。
本课是第二课时。学生通过第一课时的故事学习已经能够初步理解和认读I prefer these. Those cost 35$.等购物所需要的语言, 初步了解了可以用“I prefer these.”来表达自己对物品的观点。在四年级是已经学习过用How much is (are)??? It’s 35 $.来表达或学问回答物品的价钱,本节课的另一个重要结构就是物品价钱的另一种表达方式,学生理解起来不难,只需要加强语言的读说训练即可。
本课时主要完成四个板块的学习:“Talk together”, “Listen to this”, “Check the correct answer”, 和“complete the dialog”。
“Check the correct answer”板块是通过具体的手指的方向帮助学生理解this/these, that/those 之间的区别,在通过选择正确的选项练习来帮助学生巩固这一知识难点。
“complete the dialog” 与本节课内容衔接很紧密,不仅是对学生的听、读、写三方面的综合练习,而且它还创设了一个简单的购物情景,为学生说的练习提供了一个很好的范本,因此,我把它提到了本节课来完成。
学生分析:
学生字一年级和四年级是都学习过了大量的有关衣服的词汇,对物品价格的表达也在四年级学习过用How much is (are)??? It’s 35 $.来表达或学问回答物品的价钱,本节课的另一个重要结构就是物品价钱的另一种表达方式。对于表达自己或他人对物品的观点,前面也学过含有like, favorite等词汇的句型结构,本节课学习的是用prefer来表达在两者之间更喜欢那个。应该说本节课的两个主要结构,学生理解起来都不难,只需要加强语言的读说训练即可。
3、能用”How much do (these gloves)cost? ”询问物品的价钱,并能用Those cost 23$.来进行回答。
教学难点:
This/these, that/those之间的区别。
教学过程:
Ⅰ、Warming up
1. Play a guessing game. Show the letter s and have the children guess. (sweater shirt, socks, skirt, scarf?) Look at the letters and guess “What clothes? 帮助学生回忆学过的有关服装类的词汇, 适当的扩充相关词汇。
2.T:Now let’s see all the clothes. Please read them one by one. (Show the words of clothes.) Read the words one by one. 帮助学生回忆学过的有关 服装类的词汇。
T: Oh, children, Ann, Ken and Sue can buy a gift for Daniel’s birthday, when your mum or dad have a birthday, What should you do?
T:Today,let’s go to a shopping mall and choose a gift for them.
T: Daniel is a cool man, he prefers these sunglasses. Which sunglasses do you prefer? (Put the sentence on the Bb.)
T: I prefer those. Explain these and those.
T: Look at some T-shirts, I prefer this. Ask, Which sunglasses do you prefer?
Explain this and that.
S1:I should help my mum do chores at home.
S2: I want to buy a gift for my dad.

设置情景,布置人物。 操练Which sunglasses do you prefer?句型。 通过大量的同桌练习,帮助学生真正的学会表达自己的对物品的观点。
2.Now let’s do exercise. (Check the correct answer)。
Do exercise check the correct answer. 运用一个具体的专项练习,真正 的帮助学生理解、体会,并且在 实际生活中会运用these , those,this and that,以及了解他们的区别。
3.Talk together
a. T: Look at the picture, this is Mary, she wants to buy a pair of sunglasses. Can you guess what they are talking?
b. Let’s listen what they are talking?
c. Listen and repeat.
d. Show some pictures and ask how much do (does) these (this) (sunglasses)? (put the sentence on the Bb.) You can use other words and ask other questions)

4.Ask the children to act. Ask and answer.(T-S, S-S) Pair work. Show.

Ⅲ、Listen to this
T: Look at these pictures, all of the children are choosing some things, let’s guess, what are they talking?
a. Listen to this. First time, just listen. Second time, listen and number. The third time, listen and check.
b. Check the answers and read the sentences. Talk about these pictures. Listen and match Check the answers. 在做听力之前先让学生讨论一下图片要表示的大概意义,可以培养学生在听之前认真观察图片的听音策略。
Ⅳ、Complete the dialog.
T: Now I have a dialog about going shopping.
a. Look at the picture and guess, what does Jane want to buy?
b. Now, please try to complete this dialog.
c. Ok, children, Let’s listen to the tape and check your answer.
