热身练习:整堂课的教学活动设计是由易到难的。先复习上节课所学课文里的一些重要短语,要求学生看到中文解释后立即反映出它们的英文形式;(Warming-up exercises: Put the following into English)为之后的教学活动先做一个热身练习。
活动一: 通过回答一些问题来回忆课文内容。(Answer some questions according to Text II )
活动二: 请学生用表演小品的形式来复习和再现课文情景。(Act a short play according to Text II )
活动三: 请同学看一张‘festivals and holidays’食物照片,鼓励他们根据照片来用英语表达自己的看法(一个句子甚至一个单词都可以),Encourage students to say something(one sentence or one word)according to the picture ‘Good Food’. 再列出一些有用的句子,要求填空并朗读句子。(Fill in the blanks and speak out)这些句子为紧接着的关于食物的交谈任务做一个准备,要求学生在交谈中运用掌握。)
针对本课内容,给出话题(Do you have your lunch at the school canteen? Do you enjoy the food there? What is your favorite lunch? Tell the class your reasons.)进行小组讨论(work in groups)。讨论后请几个组的代表上台发表自己这一小组的观点。
活动四:通过观看录像来简单了解西方人的节日。
活动五:提出问题:Which festivals or holidays are good for us? 然后导出图片(the f picture),给同学讲解它的含义。让学生了解:Which festivals and holidays are good for us?
